log in Noodle Tools your school or college has enabled access through Google, signing in to Noodle Tools is simple and you won’t need to remember a separate.

Instructions

Step 1:

Begin by entering NoodleTools via either of these options:
Option 1:
“Google” button on the NoodleTools sign in page


Click the “Google” button on the sign in page at:

Option 2: Direct link

You can open Noodle Tools from a customized link that matches your Google.

domain (the part of your Google email address after the “@”). The link is construct like this:

…where “abc.edu” in the URL is replac by your Google domain.

Note that if the “student” domain is different than the “teacher” domain, there would be two separate URLs for this purpose.


A third option (only available for students who are 18 years or older)


A third method is available, which is to click the Noodle Tools button in the Google “waffle” menu.

However, as of September 1, 2021 (when Google added age-based restrictions to accessing apps from the Marketplace).

this option now only works for students who are 18 years or older.

Step 2:

You may prompt to select your Google account if you are not already log in or if you are log into multiple Google account.


you’ve log in before, Noodle Tool Project screen open and you’re done!

If you have not entered through Google before, the “Account Setup” window will open.

If your subscription covers multiple schools, you may need to select your specific school from a “Select Location” dropdown list.

in some cases.

you may also be require to enter a “school code,” which is a 6-digit password specific to your school (ask your teacher or librarian if you don’t know it). Click Continue.

In case where we don’t require information, you skip step 1 and directly to step 2 of Account Setup.

Option 1: Creating a new/empty account

If you are a new user, leave the “Create account” tab selected (default).

Choose “I am a student or library patron” (default) or “I am a teacher or librarian.” Click Create Account.

Option 2: Linking to a previously-creat account
If this is the first time you are entering Noodle Tool Google but you log in previously via a personal ID and password

(i.e., your school has switch to use Google for access recently.

or you had a trial account), select the “I have an existing account” tab instead of “Create account.” You will be prompt to enter your old Personal ID and password.

Click Link Account. Noodle Tools will link your old account to your Google ID.

To link your ID, go to your user profile, click the link icon in the left blue panel, and click Unlink on the right.

Accessing the Noodle Tools Companion app:
To access the Noodle Tools Companion iOS/Android app, locate the “Companion Key” in your Noodle Tools.
